A graveside Military Memorial Service will be held August 31 at 10 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Cemetery for Clint Douglas Magnus, 52, of Holbrook, Ariz.

He died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at his residence.
Clint Douglas Magnus was born on Thursday, March 30, 1961 at Langdon to Emil Dale and Judith Anne (Wendt) Magnus. He graduated from Langdon High School in 1979. He served in the US Navy from 1980 to 1984. For many years, He worked in California setting up modular homes. Before moving to Arizona last year, he worked for 2½ years at Bismarck Trailer Center, where he liked his job and made good friends with the guys there. He loved the outdoors and loved to travel through the mountains in California, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. He especially enjoyed spending time at his Uncle Dennis’s cabin. He loved dogs and his dog, Ziggy, had a special place in his heart. In the last few years, Clint enjoyed being with his step-nieces and nephews and great-niece and nephews.
He is survived by his mother, Judith Magnus of Nebraska; three brothers Morris (Jill) Magnus of Mandan, Brad (Heather) Magnus of Bismarck, and David (Cindy) Magnus of Pingree; four sisters Holly (John) Pachan of Wisconsin, Dawn (James) Horton of Tennessee, Nancy (Lonnie) Clark of Nebraska and Julie (Brad) Paul of Nebraska; many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Ziggy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Emil Magnus; his paternal grandparents, Morris and Alice Magnus; his maternal grandparents, Alvin and Lucille Wendt; and a special uncle, Dennis Magnus.
