A funeral service was held Monday, April 28, 2014 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon for Joseph Kram, 84, of Osnabrock.

He died April 23, 2014 at Cavalier County Memorial Hospital of Langdon.
Interment at the Union Cemetery in Osnabrock.
Joseph Kram was born on August 27, 1929 to Philip and Katherine (Stremoich) Kram near Dresden. When he was a young boy, his family moved to the Osnabrock area. He attended country school just south of the farm and graduated from Osnabrock High School in 1947. He married Corrine Verville in February of 1953 in Osnabrock. They lived near Osnabrock on the family farm raising cattle and crops until retiring in 1997. Corrine passed away in November of 2001. He continued living on the farm until 2010 when he moved to Osnabrock Good Samaritan Home. He moved to Pembilier Nursing Center in Walhalla in 2012 and resided there until his passing. He was a very patient man. He loved music, dancing in his younger days, playing bingo, watching basketball and enjoyed family visits. He had a special place in his heart for his dog, Buddy. He served several terms on the Osnabrock School Board, and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Osnabrock, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon and the Knights of Columbus.
Joseph is survived by his children: Jim (Marilyn) of Fargo; David of East Grand Forks, Minn.; Scott (Kim) of Aberdeen, S.D.; Janet (Rick) Agnes of Fargo; and Craig (Vicky) of Osnabrock; grandchildren: Alyssa and Cory Kram, Jessica Kram, Daniel and Matthew Crane, Tracy, Lindsey and Nick Agnes, Jessica Danielson; great-grandchildren: Emmalyn and Weston Hiller; siblings: Betty Gravelle, Katherine Stamm, Maggie Giles, Anna Jean (Jack) Johnson and sister-in-law Dorothy Kram.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Corrine, an infant son, and two brothers, John and Anton.
