Memorial services were held on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Bismarck for Lyle Stotz, 60, Bismarck.

He died December 8, 2014, at his home after a courageous fight with cancer.
Lyle was born on July 29, 1954, in Bismarck to Raymond and Ruth (Swenson) Stotz. He was raised and educated in Bismarck and graduated from the class of 1972 at BHS. He was united in marriage to Diane Moen on Sept. 24, 1988 at House of Prayer Lutheran Church. He loved spending time with his best friend and wife Diane, his boys Chad and Cory and his dog Annie. He loved photography, baking and cooking for his family, watching cooking shows, model cars and drag races at Brainerd. He was employed with Bobcat for nearly 37 years. After Bobcat closed, he loved going to work at MDU.
Lyle is survived by his wife: Diane; sons: Chad (Delonna Decoteau and son Andrew), Cory; his mother: Ruth; brothers: Wayne and Ron Sr. (Ann); nephews: Ron Jr. (Tammie) and Bobby (Tina); aunts Violet Pulver and Helen Swenson; and many special nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and cousins.
Lyle was preceded in death by his father, Raymond and his brother, Glenn.
