“We have 25 vendors lined up right now and we are looking for more,” Peterson said. “We are a little nervous about the first year but anxious to get out there and give Langdon a little different variety.”
“It would be nice to say this will be an annual event. With the Langdon Activity Center being big and nice, it is a good fit. Everyone will have plenty of room to move around and see everything.”
The cost to be a vendor is $50 and the deadline to register and pay is Monday, Oct. 21.
According to Peterson, vendors that have committed will be showcasing crafts, baked goods, clothing, cosmetics, jewelry and a number of home-based businesses, including Peterson’s Tastefully Simple venture.
“I have a home-based business and there are a lot of others in town as well,” Peterson said. “We haven’t had a craft show in many years and I thought this would be a good way to merge the craft and vendor show together.”
“It was a good way to get all the vendors together for a good show.”
The cost of admission is $3 per person and the Langdon Activity Center will have lunch available each day for purchase.
The show will take place on Friday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
With the holidays and Christmas right around the corner, Peterson said the wide variety of booths will give early shoppers a chance to get a jump start on gift giving.
“We hope people will come because they will have a wide variety to choose from,” Peterson said. “Think holidays, think ahead and buy some gifts for yourself or for people on your Christmas list.”
