This year’s theme is ‘The Hunger Games’ with several activities inspired by the book/movie series. This is an annual event that parents put on in order to provide a safe and fun environment for the students to celebrate graduation. The party will be open to all Cavalier County students from grades 9-12 and the students are encouraged to bring a friend. A hypnotist from Canada will be providing live entertainment for the evening, other features of the night include, air swimmers; black jack; a dunking booth; dance-dance revolution; a picture booth; and several other games and activities lined up by the committee. There will be prizes throughout the night as well as drawings for all the students to enter in. There will also be a special drawing just for the seniors for a chance to win one of four IPads. To keep things fun and safe, there will be a breathalyzer at the door along with a purse and coat check. The doors will lock after entrance and there will be no reentry if students decide to leave the party. Chaperones will also be in attendance for the evening. Lorraine Gage and Steph Fetch are in charge of the event this year and are extremely grateful for all the help and support they’ve received from the community and fellow parents. The party is being made possible only by donations. If you’d like to help with making the night as successful and fun-filled as possible for the students, please contact Lorraine Gage at 701-370-1154.
