On July 31 Peterson will be hosting a Flea Market in Boyd Block Plaza between 5 and 8 p.m.

“Basically, all these extra towns will be in Langdon (for the State American Legion Baseball Tournament) and it will be a good way to get people downtown” Peterson said.

Fourteen vendors have already committed to the Flea Market and their goods range from crafters and bakers to commercial products. A sampling of products that will be available include Tastefully Simple, Norwex, Tupperware, an assortment of jewelry and make up vendors, and refurbished junk.

“Typically what you would see at a flea market is what I want it to be” Peterson stated.

Not only with there be a variety of goods from vendors but a few of the downtown business will be staying open later to accomodate those shopping at the market. Junque Decor, Langdon Floral, and Langdon Community Drug will have extended hours on July 31.

Peterson is hoping to make this an annual event to bring a little excitement to the dog days of summer here in Langdon.

While it is free to those attending, anyone who would like to have a booth can contact Lori Peterson at the Cavalier County Republican 701-256-5311. You must bring your own tables and the cost for a booth space is $10. There is no deadline to apply for space.

So make plans to attend the Langdon Flea Market on Thursday, July 31 from 5-8 p.m.
