This week, July 30 – Aug. 3, is the 2014 State Class B American Legion Baseball Tournament. Langon gets the honor of hosting the tournament for the third time, as we also hosted the same tourney in 1998 and 2002. After literally months of planning and hard work, it’s going to be amazing to see this tournament become a reality. Many, many thanks to our great tournament commmitee of Bill Kemple, Jay Adams, Randy Hill, Tom Beauchamp, Holly Lyons, Marty Tetrault, Ethen Askvig, and Josh Krivarchka for their countless hours of work on this upcoming torunament. We welcome everyone to come out to the tournment games, which will start at 10 a.m. this Wednesday, and please come out as well for the opening ceremonies Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. The Langon Red Sox will play the last game of the opening round on Wednesday night at 7 p.m with an opponent to be determined. And thanks as well to the many people and businesses who have donated their time and funds to make this tournament a success. It’s going to be a crazy fun week in Langdon for the State B Tournaments, and we hope to see you there.
