Davis, who is the daughter of Peggy and Bill Davis, graduated from Graceland University in December of 2013 with an art degree.
“Owning a floral shop gives me a chance to be creative and use my degree” Davis said.
Davis is planning on making some changes beginning in January of 2015.
“I want them to be a surprise but they will be fun, cool changes that will brighten this community” Davis said.
“The changes will be very artsy and hopefully unique and modern” Davis continued.
Davis is very excited about taking over the floral shop and also a little nervous.
“There are a lot of unknowns but I’m taking it one day at a time. It is already a successful business which eliminates one concern” Davis said.
The familiar faces of Cindy Samuelson and her daughter, Jamie Olson, will continue to be present at the flower shop for a little longer.
“[We’ll] be helping Tati until she tells me to get out!” Samuelson said laughing.
Samuleson and Olson both will be at the floral shop for as long as Davis needs them.
“We want Tati to do it her way but we also want to be able to pass on guidance and wisdom to help her ease into business ownership” Olson said.
Samuleson is looking forward to her retirement as she plans on spending more time with her grandchildren and attending their games and events.
“I’ve been working for 60 years, it’s time to pull back and enjoy life” Samuelson said.
Samuelson and Olson both wish to thank the Langdon community for their long time support of the Langdon Floral shop.
“Thank you to Cindy for getting Langdon Floral to where it is” Davis added.
Congratulations to Tatiana Davis and Cindy Samuelson.
