A memorial mass will be held Friday, January 30, 11 a.m., at Light of the World Catholic Church at 10316 W. Bowles Ave. Littleton, Colo. for Jim Delvo of Morrison, Colo., 78.

He died December 31, 2014 at Brookdale Green Mountain in Lakewood, Colo.

A private interment will take place at the Golden Cemetery.

Jim was born October 14, 1936 to Elizabeth and Walter Delvo in Langdon and graduated from North Dakota State University with an Industrial Engineering degree in 1960. While attending school he worked as a custom combiner during the summers. He married his wife, Norma, in 1967 in Denver, Colo. He worked at CoorsTek, also known as Coors Ceramics, for over 30 years managing ceramics plants before retiring as the company’s Chief Operating Officer in 1999. During his career at CoorsTek he worked in Colorado, California, Oregon, and Texas, but was transferred back to Colorado before retiring. Once retired, he and his wife spent 10 years splitting time between their homes in Morrison, Colo. and Mesa, Ariz. He was an avid golfer, and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to play golf at courses such as Torrey Pines, St Andrews and Augusta.

Jim is survived by his wife; his daughter, Renee Delvo; his stepdaughters, Monica Heinzman and Cheryl TerHaar; and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Jack Delvo, Fargo and Sam Delvo, Bismarck.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gaylia Krebsbach.
