With 15 plus vendors selling cars, tractors and farm toys, stock car racing toys and vintage toys not to mention products such as Tastefully Simple and crafts, the event is sure to be a hit.
“We thought we would expand on it as far as it just being a toy show, offer something for everybody” Lawrence Henry, the Langdon City Commissioner in charge of the Activity Center stated.
Vendors are coming from all over the place to sell their wares at the Langdon Toy Show. This is the eigth year that the show will be held with hopes of surpassing last year’s amazing attendance record of 400 people.
“There used to be a toy show in every town” commented Mike Schrader, who helps organize and sells toys at the show.
The show brings in business to many area businesses as some attendees come from Canada and Schrader stated that some attendees drive almost 100 miles to attend the show.
“There are a lot of people who buy, sell, and trade” Schrader said of those who attend the show.
The admission for the toy show is $3 for adults and kids 12 and under are free. The show will also have a lunch available both days for those attending with a selection of BBQ, salads, and bars.
Proceeds from the admission fees and the lunch will go towards the Activity Center’s expenses.
The Langdon Toy Show will open on Saturday, February 14 at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Sunday, February 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you would like to have a space at the Langdon Toy Show the cost for a table is $15.
