A celebration of life was held April 19, 2015 at her granddaughter (Lisa Kaufman’s) home for Helen Irene Christianson, 95, of Kirkland, Wash.

Helen I. Christianson was born May 25, 1919 in Bowman to Michael and Johanna Rosenberg. She married Albert Christianson November 5, 1937. They farmed at Langdon until 1963 when they moved to Everett, Wash. She worked and retired from Everett General Hospital. She received Employee of the Year Award and worked part time after retiring. She was known for making the best potato salad and chicken. All the grandkids took lessons on how to make it. She lived on her own until September 2014 when she needed to go to the Life Care Center.
Helen is survived by her son Brian Christianson (Tove) of Marysville, two daughters: Carol Winter and Sandra Kreutz (Robert), both of Everett, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray Rosenberg of Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, son Dale Christianson, two grandchildren, Keith Winter and Kris Christianson; siblings: Marie Stone, Florence Peterson, Lenore Welch, Ernest, Stanley, and Grant Rosenberg.
Evergreen-Washelli Chapel in Seattle was in charge of the arrangements.
