Hoffarth, who was the deputy auditor to the previous city auditor for the past four years, looks forward to her new role in the community.
“I feel I did my job well, and this is the next challenge in my life,” Hoffarth said, “I will be able to train the new deputy auditor so they can grow as well, and at the same time be able to focus on learning more to be auditor.”
Hoffarth, who is continuing her education in accounting through online courses at Mayville State University, has high expectations for herself as she begins this new aspect of her career serving the community of Langdon.
“I hope that I can serve Langdon as a good auditor. I always strive to do my best,” Hoffarth stated.
In addition to her Rural Leadership of North Dakota (RLND) courses, Hoffarth knows other training will be vital to her success as the auditor. It won’t be just the training that she will utilize either as she knows having contacts in similar positions will also be an asset.
“I will be doing all the training I can. Government has a lot of good sites; League of Cities has many conferences that will give me the knowledge on the government issues, my RLND network will have contacts that are always there to help,” Hoffarth said.
Overall, Hoffarth is determined to be successful in the office of Langdon City Auditor.
“I’m excited to work even harder for the community.”
Congratulations to RoxAnne Hoffarth, the new Langdon City Auditor.
