The event starts at Schroeder Furniture and ends at the Eagles.

Tickets for the event are $20 and on sale now at Choice Financial, Farmers and Merchants State Bank, and Sporty’s Bar, all located in Langdon. The timing of the event falls just before the Super Bowl when many are looking for something new to serve at their parties.

The Bash, which follows the same premise as the Wine Walk, enlists local Chamber businesses to serve some uncommon beers along with tasty recipes that use bacon.

“We had 22 stops last year and this year we have 28 stops with new businesses participating which means more beer and more bacon,” Lacey Klingbeil, co-founder of the event, stated, “We are ecstatic about businesses wanting to be involved with this event.”

There will not be a shortage in selection for attendees to try as the event will have over 30 different beers being served in sample sizes, but Klingbeil gave no hints as to what kinds of beer will be available on the Bash route.

“Just come out and taste for yourself,” Klingbeil stated.

If the beer and bacon recipes were not enough to lure people to the event there are also a great assortment of prizes including the grand prize of a 48 inch Smart TV, the perfect prize for someone to win the weekend of the Super Bowl.

“The businesses are so generous with their donations for prizes. We have received such a variety of different things,” Klingbeil said.

The assorted prizes are able to be won by anyone who completes their “pig pass” prior to the start of the drawing at 9 p.m. All participants who turn in their completed pig pass will receive a souvenir 22 ounce pilsner glass.

The organizing committee will decide at their recap meeting following the event where the funds raised will go.

Klingbeil wishes to give a huge thank you to the following: Langdon Area Chamber of Commerce, Eagles, Quality Specialty Products and Printing, Bottle Barn and Regal Liquors for the great beer selection, and all participating businesses and businesses that donated.
