Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon for Doloris Keaveny, 84, Langdon.

She died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
Interment at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Wales.
Doloris was born May 2, 1932, near Wales to Harold L. and Ida (Johnson) Meyer. She attended the South Dresden #2 Grade School. On February 16, 1953, she married James Keaveny, Jr. at Wales. In 1957, she began working for Leo Kram at Wales Implement and worked there for over 46 years. While in Wales she was active in the St. Michael’s Catholic Church Altar Society and also sang in the church choir. In 1997, she moved to Langdon and was active in the Cavalier County Senior Citizens. Things she enjoyed were playing cards and bingo.
She is survived her sister, Idella Moisse, of Langdon; brother-in-law Pat Keaveny of Grand Forks; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special friend, Carleen Schill.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband James Keaveny on December 1, 1973; and several aunts and uncles.
