Pastor Justin Schnackenberg along with his wife of 15 years, Kyli, join the Langdon community with their two very friendly small lap dogs.
Schnackenberg and Kyli both enjoy riding bike, playing darts, and reading.
Prior to coming to Langdon, Pastor Schnackenberg served the United Methodist Churches in Page, Hope, Finley and, most recently, Carrington.
“I am looking forward to all the exciting ministries that Langdon UMC has like the Last (Wednesday) Supper that is supplied to the community,” Schnackenberg stated, “I am also looking forward to the many other new ministries for the community of Langdon that we will be working on to help folks of the Langdon community grow in their relationship with God.”
Another aspect of being new to the congregation of the United Methodist Church is exploring different methods of worship.
“What I am looking forward to here in this congregation is exploring new and different ways of worship,” Schnackenberg said.
Schnackenberg also has plans for community involvement beyond the Methodist church. Schnackenberg explained that he has been a member of the Kiwanis and will be actively looking at joining another civic organization here in Langdon. Other plans for community involvement include being an active member of the Ministerial Association in Langdon. Schnackenberg is looking forward to working with all of the other pastors in an ecumenical way.
“Kyli and I are excited to be here and become a part of the Langdon community and look forward to meeting and getting to know all of the wonderful folks here,” Schnackenberg said.
