Funeral services were held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Grafton Lutheran Church for Elizabeth Ann Williamson, 101, of Valley City, and formerly of Grafton, who passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Sheyenne Care Center of Valley City.
Interment will be at Grafton Lutheran Cemetery.
Elizabeth Waslaski was born October 19, 1915 in Cavalier County, the oldest child of 13 born to the late Stanley and Catherine (Klebovich) Waslaski. She was grew up and attended school in Cavalier County. She was united in marriage to Bruce Williamson on December 14, 1936. They farmed in the Dresden area until 1952 when they moved to Grafton. She worked at the J.C. Penney Store in Grafton for 24 years. She was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church and the ALCW.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters: Janet (Oscar) Lauzon and Caral (Tom) Nix, both of Valley City, grandchildren: Teryl (Scott) Clendenin, Portland, Ore., Todd (Christine) Lauzon, Grand Forks, Joel (Roni) Nix, Williston, Cody (Kristi) Nix, Pinehurst, NC, Robyn (Shawn) Carlson, Dilworth, Minn. and Bryce (Nicole) Lingen, Thief River Falls, Minn.; 15 great grandchildren, son-in-law Robert Lingen, Fargo, and sisters-in-law LaVelda Waslaski, Rita Waslaski and Audrey Waslaski, as well as several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Marilyn Lingen, and her siblings: Floyd, Marion, Helen, Joseph, John, Stanley, Richard, Phillip, Frank, Edward, Bernard, and Arnold.
