Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the United Lutheran Church in Langdon for Jesse Stuart Economy, 24, of Langdon, who passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Burial will be held in the Lebanon Cemetery, Langdon.
Jesse was born August 13, 1992 in St. Cloud, Minn. to Norman Jr. and Linda (Campbell) Economy. He spent the first seven years of his life in Floodwood, Minn. In 1999, the family moved to Mott and in 2005 to Langdon. After graduating from Langdon Area High School in 2011, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. He worked with his dad in the construction business and was currently attending the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He loved his family and had a great connection with his many nieces and nephews. He could always be found with friends or his dog Zeus. He was someone you could count on and always went out of his way to do anything for his family and friends. He was the life of the party and could always be found with a smile on his face. He had a very adventurous spirit and loved doing anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Norm and Linda Economy of Langdon; siblings: Jaclyn Economy of Aberdeen, SD, Matthew (Alleiy) Economy of Osnabrock, Lucas Economy of Aberdeen, SD, Ariel (Drew) Simmons of Langdon, Ruth Economy of Perth, Australia, Marcus Economy of El Paso, Texas, Anfernee and Roger Economy, both of Langdon; seven nieces; five nephews; grandparents: Norman and MaryAnn Economy of Wellton, Ariz., Duane and Nona Brinkman of Tucson, Ariz., Kathleen Campbell of Virginia, Minn.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding him in death are grandfathers Donald Stuart Flaaten and D. Kelly Campbell, nephew Ezekiel Janis, and cousin Hannah Wilson.
