“It means a lot to me because of the effort I put forth to receive this master certification,” Hoffarth said.

Hoffarth received this accreditation after completing the required education hours and passing the examination. Hoffarth dedicated many hours to reach this level of certification as he was required to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota to take the course over a period of three days and take the four hour exam.

“You have to get at least a 75 percent to pass,” Hoffarth shared.

The IICRC board of directors explained in a press release that Hoffarth is an example of the type of individual who cares about consumers and their belongings as well as his industry and demonstrates this by his desire to achieve the highest certification possible.

“He has demonstrated the desire to provide customers with thorough, professional, and caring service,” the release states.

The IICRC is an ANSI-accredited standard setting body for the inspection, cleaning, and restoration industries. The IICRC, with participation from the entire industry, sets standards for inspection, cleaning, and disaster restoration.

The IICRC is a nonprofit certifying and standard setting organization dedicated to raising industry standards through technical proficiency. By administering a strict process of certification, IICRC provides a means by which consumers can receive the highest quality service from trained, knowledgeable, professional technicians.

“This is the highest certification I can achieve,” Hoffarth explained. “It’s more than just the day to day work and experience as the business changes every year. “
