Memorial services will be held on May 27, 2017, at 11 a.m., in the Community Center in Mountain, for M. Louise Christianson, 88, Enumclaw, Wash., and formerly of Fargo, who died April 5, 2017, in Enumclaw, Wash.
M. Louise (Hanson) Christianson was born on a farm near Mountain on May 12, 1928, to Barney Hanson and Lily (Olgeirson) Hanson, joining her sister Joyce. Barney died in 1932. In 1937, she married Willard Olson, and the family moved to Milton. After graduating from high school, she moved to Fargo, where she lived most of her life, moving to Enumclaw in 2011. She attended business college, and worked at various secretarial jobs until retiring from NDSU’s Civil Engineering Dept. after 20 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, and was an active member of the Icelandic Klub of Fargo Moorhead. In 1972, she married Allan T. Christianson.
Louise is survived by grandchildren Seth A. (Lindsey) Hanson and Stacey S. Decker, two stepchildren, Mary Lou Christianson and Jerome Kristjanson, two step granddaughters, seven great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, one step great great granddaughter; new found daughter, Barbara Skinner, her two daughters and families; sister, Vivian Eyford, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, son Jeffrey A. Hanson, sister Joyce L. Bell, and her husband, Allan.
