Bruce D. Denler

A celebration of life service was held Friday, June 9, 2017 at the The Arms Building, Greenwood, Ind. for Bruce D. Denler, 85, a Langdon native and formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who died Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Greenwood, Ind.

Bruce Denler was born May 11, 1932 in Langdon to Roy and Ethel Denler. He graduated from Langdon High School in 1950 and then served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He later graduated from the University of North Dakota. He married Vaughn Saunders of Lakota on June 15, 1959. He spent his career in the grocery industry, retiring in 1995.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife; sister Lois (Ed) Klein of Wahpeton; children: Kimberly (Greg) Torrison of Franklin, Ind., Kevin (Veronica) Denler of  Denver, Colo. Rob (Mary) Denler of Monument, Colo.; grandchildren: Leah, Chad (Sara) and Abby Torrison, and Will and Johnathan Denler; and great-grandchild Lucy Torrison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Denler, and sisters Glenna Fast and Sharon Bailey.
