Robert Dean Bowles, 56, of Seattle, Wash. passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017.

He died peacefully at Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle, Wash. from cancer, surrounded by his immediate family.
Bobby was born in Langdon on August 2, 1961 to Jim and Eunice (Gellner) Bowles. In 1966, his family moved to Seattle, Wash. There he attended Manhatten Elementary, Olympic Junior High, and Highline High School. He excelled at baseball from the time he picked up a bat. His parents followed his baseball career through high school, never missing a game. He worked for the Local 41 and retired after 30 years. After his death, he was able to give the gift of sight to two recipients in need of corneal transplants through Sightlife of Seattle. He was known affectionately as Bobby Dean by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Victoria; children: Hayden Bowles and Ruby Bowles; grandchild: Lenore Valentina Bowles; step-daughter: Mackenzie Janecky; sisters: Kristy (Jon) Nestle and Cindy (Vance) Undlin; nieces and nephews: Taylor, Adam, Lucas, and Lindsey and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Eunice Bowles and grandparents, Walter and Ada Bowles and Frank and Ruby Gellner.
Inturnment was held on October 4, 2017 at the Zion Cemetery in Osnabrock with a private graveside ceremony.
