This year, the theme is ‘Carnival for Christ’ and will feature free food, Taco in a Bag, cotton candy, popcorn, bounce house and other games and prizes.
“We’ve had different themes every year and this year we’re doing the carnival theme,” said Kahla Moutria.
“We’ve had a great turnout from the community in the past and not just from our church. Everyone is invited to attend.”
The goal of the event is to provide kids an alternative to trick or treating in the streets.
“Our goal is to provide a safe, warm place where kids can come on Halloween night to show off their fun costumes and still be in a good environment,” Moutria said. “We feel like this is an important outreach we’ve become known for at our church.
“We want to keep it going and be that constant event people look forward to every Halloween night.”
Event Director Amy Manthei said average attendance over four years has been 100 to 150 people.
“It is a fun time of fellowship for families,” she said. “We want to encourage families to come out.
“We want to be able to show the love of Christ to the community and provide a fun, healthy environment for children.”
The event is completely free of charge. For more information, contact the church at 701-256-2602.
