The Blades lost at Watford City 2-1, lost against Hazen-Beulah 3-1 on Dec. 15, and tied Bismarck 3-3. The Blades have home games versus Fargo and Grand Forks on Dec. 21-22, then will play at Wahpeton and Fargo Dec. 29-30.

Due to injuries the Blades played with just eight skaters for their first two games out west, and just six versus Bismarck.

In a hard fought loss to Watford City, the Blades got a first period goal from Deven Johnson on assists from Alexa Schneider and Savannah Ullyott, but that would be the only score they would get for the game. Watford City out shot Langdon 39-17, with Jordan Jenson stopping 37 shots.

In their tie at Bismarck, the Blades got goals from Schneider, Ullyott and Emma Field, while Regan Hoffarth had two assists. Langdon came back from a 3-1 deficit in the third period, scoring two goals to get the tie. Jenson had 44 assists in this one, as Bismarck out shot the Blades 47-23.

Stats for the Hazen-Beulah game were not available at press time.
