A funeral service was held at the Booney-Watson Memorial Funeral Home, SeaTec, Wash. on March 19 for Wayne Stewart MacDonald, 79, of Tukwila, Wash., who passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8 at Highline Hospital in Burien, Wash., after a long battle with diabetes. Interment was held Wednesday, March 20, at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Wash.
Wayne was born on April 11, 1939, to Stewart and Doris MacDonald. He was raised on the family farm near Langdon.
He is survived by his son Jeff of Maryville, Wash. and his daughter Kellie MacDonald-Midgley of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren; Phillip, Roxanne and Emily. Two sisters; Judy Stevens, Renton, Wash., Susan (Bill) Jennings, Avon Park, Fla., two brothers; Robert (Cheryl) MacDonald, St George, Utah and Dennis MacDonald, Langdon, Sister-in-laws Sally Coon, Spooner, Wis., and Barbara Reitan, Kent, Wash.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Virginia, parents Stewart and Doris MacDonald, infant sister, Jeanette Marie and infant brother, Michael Bradley.
Booney-Watson Memorial Funeral Home, SeaTec, Wash., was in charge of arrangements.
