Funeral service were held on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon for Dean M. Feil, 59, of Langdon, who passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Cavalier County Memorial Hospital in Langdon. Burial will be in the spring at Calvary Cemetery.
Dean Michael Feil was born January 8, 1960, in Langdon, to Dareld and Frances (Westphal) Feil. He grew up and attended school in Hannah. After working on the Feil farm for a few years, he started working in construction, which he did most of his life. He worked for ABC Seamless and Plummer Construction. He also spent many hours collecting and recycling cans and taking them to Grafton. He enjoyed playing pool and was very proud of his pickups and vehicles.
Dean is survived by his mother, Frances Lebrun, of Langdon; sisters: Debra (Jeff) Ryan of Langdon, Diana (Dale) Plummer of Langdon, Dawn Metzger of Fargo, Darcy (Scott) Gellner of Langdon, Denise (Larry) Jacobson of Larimore, Darelyn Kartes of Coon Rapids, Minn., Dana LaCorte of West Palm Beach, Fla.; step-siblings: Carleen (Alan) Schill of Langdon, David (Sharon) Lebrun of Minot, Julie (Darrel) Bachman of Pelican Rapids, Minn., Janet (Tom) Schill of Langdon; many nieces, nephews, step-nieces, and step-nephews; uncle Jim Westphal of Mesa, Ariz.; and his best friend, Dean Olson.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, father Dareld Feil, step-father Robert Lebrun, uncle Les Feil, and his cousin, Steve Feil.
