After the DL-B Tourney the Cardinals played a Region 4 match at Rolla on October 8. After finding their groove early in the first set, the Lady Cards played one of their most dominating matches of the season, winning 3-0 by set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-8. The win keeps the Cardinals record unbeaten in Region 4 matches at 4-0, and their overall record is now 19-3. The Cards had a match on October 3 at home versus Grafton moved to November 1, and weather permitting they hosted St. John for their Homecoming match on October 10. They had hoped to get in their Langdon Invitational Volleyball Tournament on October 12. Their next matches on the schedule are at Dakota Prairie in McVille on October 15 then at Park River on October 21.
The Lady Cards had several big runs in each of their sets with Rolla, their biggest being a 19-3 lead in set three. Cardinals senior Calyn Crockett had a fantastic overall match, serving that big third set run and finishing with eight service aces and 22 assists. She just missed a triple-double with 14 digs. A number of Crockett’s sets on the night went to Callie Ronningen, who had 16 kills, followed by eighth grader Cora Badding, who had a career high eight. The Cardinals finished with 15 aces as a team
