Olga Feil

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon for Olga Feil, 85, of Langdon, who passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Cavalier County Memorial Hospital in Langdon. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Langdon.

Olga Mae Borgen was born December 10, 1933, in Linden Township near Hannah to Oliver and Elsie (Gradwell) Borgen. She attended school in Hannah, graduating in 1952. She continued her education at St. Alphonsus Hospital School of Nursing in Boise, Idaho, where she earned her registered nursing diploma in 1955. She cared for the community of Langdon as a nurse for over 50 years. She married the love of her life, Leslie Feil, on June 6, 1956, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Wales. They lived on the farm and raised their family then moved to Langdon in 1986. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In her younger years, she always had a hot meal on the table for her family or would take a hot meal out to the field. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, cross-stitching and making clothing. She was able to maintain her sense of humor until the end. She was a faithful member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters.

Surviving Olga are her children: Lesley Muscha of Woodbridge, Calif., Kent of Langdon, and Ross of Langdon; grandchildren: Elyse (Joey Magnelli) Muscha, Alex (Bri) Feil, Courtney (Josh) Short, Chelsea Feil (Mike Vanatta), Sean (Brittany) Feil, Leeza Feil (Brad Disrud), Hannah Feil, and Hunter Feil; great-grandchildren: Paisley, Cash, Presley, and Julianna; and siblings: Betty Mikkelsen, Carol Godfrey, Eileen Cassella, and Orville Borgen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Les, son Stephen, son-in-law Michael Muscha, daughter-in-law Julie Feil, and siblings: William, Marie, Carl, Glenn, Doris, Donna, Lois, and Ralph.
